Life for foreigners in Somalia a few decades ago was lucrative and enjoyable. Somalia has really nice weather for recreation and business, and many took advantage of this. It’s summer throughout most of the year and it doesn’t get too hot like it does in the Gulf countries.
During earlier stable days, the beach was an escape for everyone whether you were Somali, a foreigner living in Somalia or a tourist. Somalis were always very welcoming and tolerant people.
